CHARLTON WITH CROPTHORNE PRE-SCHOOL On Friday 11th June, Charlton with Cropthorne Pre-School enjoyed a memorable day out at the local Vale Studios. Not only was it an unforgettable experience and thoroughly good fun for a bunch of excited budding vocalists, it doubled up as a great fund-raiser for Pre-School via proceeds from sales of the CD recorded. The outing kicked off the start of a busy fun-packed half- term schedule for Charlton with Cropthorne Pre-School, which includes dressing-up days, a Forest School trip to Ragley Estate, putting forward a team for Cancer Research Relay for Life, Sports Day and Family BBQ, a trip to Umberslade Farm Park and End of Term Party. Anybody interested in places for children aged 2½ plus for the coming September term can call Alison Davies on 07966 216980.

CUSHION CHURCH @ WYRE .COMe Cushion church is an informal but focussed time of worship for any who like to worship simply, and in the company of children. We bring cushions to sit on to remind us we’re in God’s house and as we carry our cushions back and forth we remember that Church isn’t really a building but a way of living our lives in the presence of a God who loves us deeply. As such, all our cushions are blessed during the service, so bring yours along for a blessing ! Here are the next few dates: July 18th – Village Hall August 15th – St Anne’s September 19th – Village Hall October 17th – St Anne’s November 21st – Village Hall December 19th – St Anne’s Christmas special !
